Hi, I’m Agamonee. I write for others as well as for myself. After six years as a copy editor/features writer/executive editor in magazine publishing, I switched to freelance writing. I do website content (write/edit/rewrite/younameit) as well as print. I pen a few stories too sometimes. A couple of them are available in anthologies by Women’s Web.

2016: Selection of my short story in an anthology published by Womens Web called ‘The Other Side of Her’.

2017: Another anthology called “When Women Speak Up” with two of my short stories in it, again by Women’s Web.

I blog mostly about issues that raise my eyebrows and the views are purely my own and not coloured by any person, group, race, community or religion. If we think alike (or not), I’d love to hear a Hey!

  1. Hi there! Just stumbled into your blog. I am also just starting out blogging so it was nice to come across yours. I especially liked the one about Patriarchy. Keep up the good work!

  2. I love the fact that you aren’t blogging about sweaters and cakes, Agomonee! Jokes aside, as hackneyed and prolonged as it is our region needs the conflict narrative. The everyday interactions of our people with our harsh realities do demand perspectives if at all we are going to make people have to see how life this side of India is truly like. Be seeing you around.
